Snickers Mug Cake
the cake
- 4 tablespoons almond meal
- 2 tablespoons cacao or cocoa
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 medjool date, seeded and chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
the topping
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon crushed peanuts
- Place the cake ingredients into a bowl and mix to combine. Pour the mixture into a mug or ramekin and place it into the microwave for 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
- While the cake is cooking place the topping ingredients into a bowl and mix to combine.
- Remove the cake from the microwave, top with the topping, eat and enjoy.
notes – the cake continues to cook as it cools, as microwaves vary you may find two minutes adequate.
