5 Minute Snacks and Dietary Staples

Brought to you by Oster.

I have had a lot of kitchen fun today and most excitingly of all I will be giving you the chance to repeat it in your own home. But that’s the very best bit so let’s leave it until last and start with a glimpse into my day.

I was recently asked if I would like to review the Oster Versa Performance Blender, would I like to? I would love to!!

Only hours after it had arrived to spend a few days at my place, I had opened the box and started to play.

Playing is exactly what I would call it. It certainly wasn’t a chore. I spent less than an hour whipping up all of the below and there is so much more that I am very keen to try out.

For those who have not heard of Oster they currently hold the title of #1 blender in the USA and they have recently made their way to Australia.

The Versa is a lot more than your standard blender. Think beyond smoothies. You can also create nut butters, flours, milks, sorbets, dips and even steaming hot soups at the touch of the button.

Some of the things I really loved about this appliance were the two jugs that come with it. A taller, slimmer jug that is perfect for liquids and a shorter, wider jug that is great for milling, nut butters and much of what we do over here at Wholefood Simply. The two-jug feature is fabulous, as when I get into my cooking zone I like to just get it done and being able to utilise the two jugs was something I really appreciated.

The clear, heavy-duty jugs enable you to see exactly where your creations are at. This is great if you like a bit of texture in your nut butter or want to ensure your soups and smoothies are super smooth.

Another feature that is worth mentioning is the Versa Performance Blender gives you two options in regards to control. You can use the touch of a button built in settings or you can manually control the speed yourself. I have used both and really like that I have the choice.

Here is a glimpse of my first hour with the Versa Performance Blender. We enjoyed it all. From the creating to the consuming and I hope you do too.

 nut butter

This is one of our favourite nut butter combinations, a mix that we go back to time and again. It is also great to pop into jars and give as gifts.

You can spread this butter on apple slices for a perfect snack. We also also love it in any recipe that asks for a nut butter and added to soups and smoothies. All of us happily eat it straight off the spoon! Be sure to try it out.

Creamy Nut Butter

  • 1 cup macadamias
  • 1 cup dry roasted cashews*
  • generous pinch of salt
  1. Place the ingredients into the Oster Versa and blend at high speed until you reach your desired consistency. You may need to stop the blending process and give the nuts a quick stir once or twice.

*dry roasted cashews are readily available from the supermarket or you can toast your own raw cashews at home.

 coconut mousse

Coconut Cream is a great recipe for anyone who is embracing a dairy free lifestyle or who simply likes to mix things up a bit. This recipe is simple, delicious and perfect with any of our puddings and mueslis. I especially love it with the Caramel Pudding and the Toasted Granola. Adding a heaped tablespoon of this cream to your smoothies will take them to a whole new level.

Coconut Cream

  • 1 270 ml tin of coconut cream that has been stored in the fridge for a minimum of 48 hours
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon concentrated natural vanilla extract
  1. Place the ingredients into the Oster Versa and blend at medium speed for 10 seconds. Stir and blend again at medium speed until you reach your desired consistency.

 instant nut milk

I often find myself wanting a cup of nut milk on the spur of the moment, with no time to soak nuts or find my nut milk-straining bag. More often than not I opt for this instant, simple and delicious version that I have outlined below. I hope you find the recipe as handy as we do.

Instant Nut Milk

  • 1 tablespoon of nut butter (we used the delicious creation above)
  • 1 teaspoon of sweetener (we typically use maple syrup or honey)
  • 1/4 teaspoon natural concentrated vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of water
  1. Place the ingredients into the Versa and blend at high speed until the mixture resembles a delicious milk.

Creamy Vanilla Milk

  • Add a heaped tablespoon of the coconut cream from above to the milk recipe.
  1. If you would like to have this as a Creamy HOT Vanilla Milk, simply increase the blending time to four minutes.

2 ingredient chocolate truffles

If ever you need to take a plate or just want a delicious treat but have no time and / or no ingredients, then this recipe is the perfect place to turn! In addition to this it is also allergy friendly, making it ideal for school functions or parties that need to cater for a variety of dietary intolerances. Best of all these truffles are delicious and enjoyed by everyone including both my low calorie and my non-wholefoodie friends.

2 Ingredient Chocolate Truffles

  • 12 medjool dates, seeds removed
  • 3 tablespoons cacao or cocoa
  • 1 extra tablespoon of cacao or cocoa to roll the truffles in
  1. Place the dates and 3 tablespoons of cacao or cocoa into the Oster Versa and gradually work up to high speed. Stop the blending, stir and repeat.
  2. Roll the mixture into balls and through the extra cacao or cocoa.
  3. Place in the fridge to set.

Hot Chocolate Mousse

Anyone who has been following my little space will know that we are big fans of Chocolate Mousse. This is our favourite way to enjoy this delicious dessert on cold winter nights….or mornings….or in the middle of the wet and rainy days…

Hot Chocolate Mousse

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cacao or cocoa
  • 3 medjool dates, seeds removed
  • 1/2 teaspoon concentrated natural vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
  1. Place the ingredients into the Versa in the order listed above and blend at high speed for four minutes. Stop the blending and stir the mousse at the two-minute mark.
  2. Serve. Eat. Enjoy.

  • I am a fan of chocolate mousse or banana icecream in the blender. Its looks seriously impressive, but not too large and cumbersome which is great! I bet you don’t want to send it back now 🙂 x

  • Taya Jacob

Definately the nut butter and the mousse! Yum!! I would love this appliance!

  • Kathryn J

Gosh – decisions, decisions! I think it would have to be “testing” the machine on an old nemisis – coconut butter. I have succesfully burnt out the motors on a Breville and a Sunbeam food processor trying to make it, so this would be the ultimate recipe to “break it in”!

  • Kath Mitton

I would love to try the chocolate truffles. I was given a food processor but it was only a cheapie and is no good for proper blending. I would love to be able to properly recreate these recipes. They all sound so delicious 🙂

  • Nicole Jones

I’m on a mission to rid my house of Tomato and barbecue sauce so my first mission would be testing out a few sauces and aioli’s!!

  • molly

Smoothies, smoothies!!!! My 2yr old loves green smoothies!! And this is great at a time when he is super fussy with those nasty 2yr old molars coming through! but our blender just doesn’t handle it and the jug part doesn’t work.

  • Monique

Oh wow, I am making that chocolate mousse for sure!

  • Kirsty Wilkie

I can’t choose. But I have to say the mousse or nut butter

  • Michelle W

  • Sally

Some bliss balls ready for my little one to go to kindy

  • Emily

Oh yeah, I’m making instant nut milk – I never thought of doing that, it’s genius!

  • Lisa

Any kind of nut butter. My mums hand me down food processor started smoking last time i tried! Am having withdrawals…

  • Kathy Laing

I would LOVE to make the 2 Ingredient Truffles and the Coconut Cream but then again come to think of it I would LOVE to try ALL the Wholefood Simply creations in this amazing blender!

  • Sharyn W

Love the sound of all of the above though the first thing i would make is a green smoothie that does not have chunks of green in it still as it is all nicely blended properly (my current blender does not blend very well so i choke on pieces that have not been blended properly) – a super blender such as this one is my dream 🙂

  • Crystal Lanham

This blender looks amazing…i think id make the hot chocolate mouse. I have 3 of your books…this must be new!!! Excited

  • Sarah

The first thing I would make is the nut milk – what a perfect quick, easy & delish healthy recipe! I’m sure the Oster would convince me to keep going & not just stop at one of your recipes!!!!

  • kyragoodwin

Nut butters, lots & lots of nut butters, my dinosaur food processor just spins the whole nuts around & around.

  • Aviva

    Hot Chocolate Mousse! Looks AMAZING!

  • Jasmine Cooms

Chocolate truffles all the way! Delish!
With my current blender that just died on me the other day i could reeeeeally use the Oster Versa!
    Treats made with such ease!!

  • Alyssar

I would love to try making the Hot Chocolate Mousse with the Oster Versa Performance Blender. I would love to make a cauliflower bechemel sauce.

  • Becky McIntosh

I’d be whipping up some of that coconut cream for sure yummo!

  • Jackie Brophy

    Definitely the nut butter! 🙂

  • Kylie Perry

I would love to be able to make instant nut milk in a flash! thats my first choice 🙂

  • Jess Llewellyn

I would make the 2 ingredient chocolate truffles.. I have gone through 2 blenders since buying your wholefoodsimply book because I just love using medijool dates however the blenders haven’t been able to cope or mix the dates very well! The recipes would work so much better with a good blender

  • Elizabeth Elliott

Pumpkin soup would be top of the list! Yum!!

  • Corrie Nguyen

Definitely the nut butter, which is impossible to make with my regular blender!

  • Samantha

I would definitely make a macadamia butter first, that i know exactly what is in it instead of the store brought versions full of additives 🙂

  • Jem

It would be the hot chocolate mousse for sure- that sounds amazing!!

  • Sarah M

My first creation would be experimenting with recipes that my husband can enjoy as a colitis sufferer. Sadly our currently blender is useless when it comes to blending things finely enough for him. Can’t wait to try some new recipes 🙂

  • Paris Speak

I would love to make soups and juices – but all time favourite is your berry cheesecake with cashew filling. To whip that up in an Oster would be heaven in comparison to the tiny blender I’m using now!

  • Tania

Definitely the 2 ingredient chocolate truffles!

  • Rachel Condon

Nut butters! I burnt out the motor of my old food processor making coconut butter…

  • Leanne Davies

I’d be in heaven if I won this Oster Blender so I’d have to make BLISS BOMBS in every combination I could imagine and using every ingredient I could find in my pantry, oooooo my imagination is in overdrive

  • Kellie Gibson

The 2 ingredient truffles sound great! They will be the next thing I make and hopefully they will be made using the Osta Versa 😉

  • DanielandEmily Westcott

Hard choice between the nut butter and hot chocolate mousse!! I’m leaning toward the nut butter because its more versatile!

  • Emma Parsonson

Definitely the Coconut Cream! It’d go perfect on top of the 4 ingredient choc banana bread that I’ve fallen in love with! Nothing is more perfect in winter than a cup of tea with my girlfriends and some sweet bread and cream that’s so simple, quick and guilt free!

  • Laura

Banana ice cream! My kids and I love it but have been missing it since I broke my old faithful food processor over a year ago!

  • Cheryle

I would use it in our tuckshop to make the coconut rough recipe that the kids love to eat. (shh don’t tell them its healthy)

  • Michelle Ledbury

As I seem to be cursed when it comes to blenders / food processors – I must have to return a few a year! Through no fault of my own I hasten to add – it’s those pesky dates that do it! I would love to have a decent (expensive!) blender!!
I would use the Oster to whip up firstly the nut butter (which would probably be a lot quicker and may save much of the distress caused to my kids with the noise!) and then all the remaining ingredients to make your grain free blondies! I am sooooo addicted to those blondies, in fact I’ve just made a loaf and eaten half of it in two hours, ooops!

  • Rima E

Would love to take the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone of just making smoothies or raw bars and try creating a “Nice Cream” Chocolate Hazelnut “Gelato” 🙂

  • Sandra

Oh the nut butter. . No the nut milk.. oh I don’t know love it all. The blender would get a good work out no matter what!!

  • Nadine M

Chocolate mousse would be top of the list for me, I’ve recently been diagnosed as Celiac and I’m missing my sweet treats!

  • Cindy Eichmann

Anything for my gluten free dairy free yeast free husband but the but butters or a cashew cheese would be probably first

  • Anna

Raw cashew cheese cake for sure!

  • Hayley-anne Massingham

Definitely the nut butter as I just can’t make them in my blender or food processor. And then the nut milk! Would be amazing to win this blender!!

  • Carmen

ooo have been reading up on the Oster for a while now and it would be perfect for nut butter and many of your dessicated coconut recipes where it has to be really processed/broken down ( my processor just doesn’t cut it…). Make our own additive free goodies!

  • Bronwyn Pocock

My first creation would be my usual whole food goodie balls which consists of dates, coconut, nut butter or coconut oil and cocoa. I usually make this in the food processor (which I am surprised that it hasn’t broken yet like all my other appliances, however I did manage to slice ligaments in my hand while unpacking it!) I would love to give Oster a go and see if I can find an appliance that doesn’t constantly break through my natural baking.

  • shannon

Oh the things I would blend! If I had to pick one it would be a nut butter. They are the basis for so many other wonderful things and are so much better when they are home made.

  • Kylie Ewen

Hot chocolate mousse would be the first thing I’d make with the Oster! Yum!

  • Michelle Williamsky

I would make my morning smoothie: blueberries, banana, chia seeds, oats, almonds, protein powder, cocunut cream, coconut water and psyllium husks.

  • leanne

With 2 broken blenders, I’d love to be able to make chewy chocolate cookies properly again! They are by far my favourite go to cookie when I’m in need of a pick me up… I’m def interested in giving that hot choc mousse a go though, so that would be next!

  • Krystal

The hot chocolate mousse looks divine!

  • Kellie Lee

I would definitely make your caramel milkshake first thing!! Ive been eyeing that recipe for SO LONG but Ive never had a blender in my life T_T

  • Debbie

Everything I could. Love your recipes and make things every couple of days. Going to send for your new book to add to my collection x

  • jacque

Definitely nut butter would be my choice as u need a quality blender/processor to be able to handle making nut butters and my current one cant do this so itd be great to finally be able to make it!!!

  • Renee Adams

Straight up, two ingredient chocolate truffles…. Nothing beats a chocolate truffle smile on my kid!

  • Tara

    Definitely the nut butter, yummy!

  • Naomi

Blending creations in my kitchen is my passion.
If I got this Oster I would simply make almond butter; pure, simple and delicious,.

  • Barbara Martin

I would love to make nut butters and a healthy “nutella” for my kids’s morning pancakes!

  • Samantha Irvine

I would love to win this for my wonderful friend who loves all your recipes but doesn’t own a blender to make them. Then we can mix up those delicious looking truffles together & take them to school pick up to feed our hungry boys.

  • Lana Caddis

I would definitely give your the (not so) Pina Colada recepie a go and I’m sure it would whip up in no time in that baby!

  • Chez Webster

Hot chocolate mousse for sure! How could you resist! ❤

  • Danni

Mine would have to be a chocolate blueberry raw cheesecake topped with blueberry chia swirls 🙂

  • Angela

Cherry bites as they burnt out my food processor probable because I doubled the ingredients 🙁

  • Rebecca Holland

I would have to make nut butter first, as my family of growing boys seem to demolish it within days, so having a blender able to handle making it would be a wonderful bonus! Then I’d use it to make a variety of smoothies to ensure my pickiest eater actually gets some fruit and vegetables in his diet…

  • Brooke Redman

Sunflower butter. My old food processor just does not want to make it without a ton of oil, which is kind of defeating my purpose 🙁 A new blender that does what it’s supposed to would be the bomb!

  • Toni Miller

There are so many things I’d make! First I think I’d make a smoothie – chia, blueberries, almonds, kiwi fruit, dried kale and banana. Yum 😉

  • Deb Wilson

Wow the Oster Versa Performance Blender comes with 2 jugs
how handy, so what will the first creation be – something sweet or savoury,
something tried and true or something new. The Oster is sure to make short work
of any but I think my favourite – Lime Balls – to start.

  • Cassie

Definitely the chocolate mousse. I am intrigued at what hot mousse would taste like, and right now wish I could try it. These blenders look great, especially the two jug part.

  • Judy

The hot chocolate mousse! Oh my! Id be tempted to use that in a cheesecake of sorts too . I so need a new blender! My cheap old thing is holding me back. Oh , the possibilities I’m missing out on ….,

  • Kellie Brewer

Nut butter…. My current one does not really do the job!!!!

  • Rebecca P

Where to begin? If I was lucky enough to win the Oster Versa Blender I would start by making your Run Drink Run smoothies for everyone in my house or breakfast on those busy work/daycare mornings! Healthy and yum for the big people and the little!

  • Sabine

I would definitely make the hot chocolate mousse! Being pregnant with my first I’ve had massive cravings for chocolate mousse and have just found the perfect egg free recipe to try out! Yum!

  • Maree Smyth

Having had my eye on an Osta Versa for awhile now & a head cold bonanza happening with the family at the moment, I would making delicious Immunity smoothies for all!

  • Genevieve Anderson

Bubble Tea – the thing I have missed more than chocolate since quitting fructose! A blender than can turn ice into a slushie is a hard thing to come by. I would make a Snow T-Ball with the Oster Versa Performance Blender 😀

  • Becks

Nut butter, almond butter for sure. I use it in so many recipes. Its sounds like i could use it for A LOT of things!!!

  • Sharon H

    2 ingredient chocolate truffles 🙂

  • Crawf66

Would definitely be the warm nut milk, or the truffles…. Aaahhhh I don’t know but I do know it would get a great work out!!

  • Tara Jeong

I have never made your coconut cream before. I would love to do that and use it in EVERYTHING! After recently discovering that I am gluten and dairy intolerant I am always trying my best to make my own meals. The 2 jug option on this blender sounds fantastic, as washing is always a little annoying when you are trying to do many things all at once!

  • Melanie Rolfe

That nut milk- I didn’t know it was so easy! I’ve been buying it for years!

  • Tace Stevens

I would love love love to make my own dip! I’ve heard how easy it is to make and dip is sometimes expensive! I’m thinking pumpkin, cashew and parmesan and also some dukkah too!!

  • Lauren Jordan

Bliss balls!! My two year old can’t get enough of them at the moment.

  • Lisa

    Cashew Butter!!

  • Pamela McGarry

definately would make a great big super healthy yummy scummy banana smoothie 🙂 🙂

  • Rebecca Shields ‘Rusterholz’

I would defiantly love to be able to make nut butter. It is me and my sons favourite.

  • Laura

The nut butter for sure! Would love to win the prize to help make all your yummy creations Bianca!

  • Ann-Marie

The peppermint slice. I’ve made it before and love the flavour, but the food processor I have leaves it a bit bumpy. I’m sure it’s even better with the improved texture!

  • jacinta

I would first make Almond milk followed closely by nut butters in every different variety.

  • Sarah Melville

I would love a Oster Versa Performance Blender! My first creation with it would be the Wholefood Simply Hot Chocolate Mousse. Yum yum!

  • Katrina Hyland

Definitely some nut milk! None of my blenders/processors have been powerful enough to make a good smooth creamy milk so would love to put it to the test. Plus I fear my current combo is sadly nearing its last legs.

  • Penny

    Creamy nut butter.

  • Britt Hewitt

It’s cold here so I’d definitely whip up some warm pumpkin soup with a bit of nut butter whipped thru it and a dob of coconut cream on top…then chocolate mousse? Oh, go on then !

  • BeMe2015

My first Oster Versa Performance Blender creation would be deliciously creamy nut butter!

  • Kristy Payne

Creamy not butter this post has inspired me to be creative and then I can make the quick nut milk. Bliss

  • Lisa Pollard

Your photo of the creamy nut butter caught my eye instantly!! My current blender cannot do nut butters!! With 4 growing kids I just can’t afford store bought butters so would really love this blender!! Love your recipes xx

  • Sarah

First I would be making the hot chocolate mousse!

  • Rebekah

Yum creamy hot vanilla milk would be probably my 2st take on the blender or the nut milk or truffles maybe raw chocolate or other of your raw cakes ♡them!

Could not go past that hot choc mousse!! I would just die……

  • Melissa Moses

Yum! Definitely the hot chocolate mousse, no….the 2 ingredient chocolate truffles, no…..bliss balls! Ooooh I can’t decide, I want to make everything!!!

  • Erin cloudsdale

First recipe for me would have to be the healthy chocolate truffles..yum

  • Naomi

Sorbet you say?!? Well that settles that, my first creation would definitely be a coconut raspberry sorbet. Yummm!

  • Maegan Kerr

The Hot Chocolate Mousse, first. Followed closely by the creamy nut butter!!!

  • Kellie Hay

I would make chocolate salty protein balls…. they have a lot of dates and I find that dates are the best test for a blender/food processor. Then I would make thai curry pumpkin soup!

  • Tam

Yum! My first creation would be a super smooth soup loaded with veggies and lentils and full of goodness and warmth.

  • Julie Korowe

Oh it would have to be the Hot Chocolate Mousse although I’m sure my husband would be making the truffles if he got his hand on it first.

  • Heidi Skehan

The instant nut milk looks great (actually, all the recipes do!) I am lactose intolerant, but I have been buying nut milks as it is quicker ( due to the fact that between being a mum to 2 young children, a uni student and making sure I get to the gym , I am rather time poor!) If I had an Oster blender, I could quickly make my own without any nasty additives!

  • Sarita

I would make the coconut cream. And then potato and leek soup with the coconut cream added to it 🙂
I currently have to borrow my mums blender!

  • Luciana Baran

Hmmm I think I need more than 1 Oster Versa Performance Blender!, there’s too many recipes I’d like to make, seeing you asked for 1 then I’d say the Hot Chocolate Mousse for hubby.

  • Summer

Creamy nut butter, definitely the creamy nut butter – yum. I love the idea of making it into a drink as well, just genius x

  • Bec Austin

I have destroyed 2 blenders recently trying to make nut butters and protein balls. I would make hazelnut “Nutella” protein balls in the Oster Versa Performance Blender because looking at the product, it’ll be up to the challenge!

  • Laura

That amazing creamy nut butter, love using them in so many recipes and my daughter loves them! What a smart looking blender, thanks for the opportunity to win one! 🙂

  • Sara

White ones, for all the colourful kids in my life who LOVED them when we last made them and giggled with cautious glee when they eventually broke the blender (it was a cheap and nasty, I must confess).

  • Nancy Crawford

All of it!!! Especially the Creamy Nut Butter! Love it all:)

  • kikidee

I would love to try the Spinach and Tahini Dip you wrote about from the “Eat Drink Paleo” cookbook. I’ve attempted hummus before but my food processor is a little to small to blend it efficiently. Thanks for this opportunity!

  • Cara Williams

Lemon bliss balls. My mouth has been watering for them since I stumbled upon your recipe on my Facebook feed!

    • Danielle

Make them with also a squeeze of lemon juice! SOOOOO Good!

  • Patricia

If I won an Oster Blender, my first creation would have to be the nut butter! I love nut butters and would be so much better to make my own without any of the additives the store bought ones have. My current blender is dying and struggles with nuts so an Oster blender would be a dream come true! Thanks for the recipes!

  • Eating To Survive

If I win- I have always wanted to make ethnic dishes like “borscht.” But also I make smoothies every morning in a tiny bullet so it would be so nice to have a blender for two or more! Especially when making my own nut flours and pesto!

  • Valerie

If only I did win this, in my dreams.
I’m afraid the decades old blender I use, is reliable and hard working. But takes so very long to do any of these and not to perfection I’m afraid.
First thing would be, nut butters or more precisely my Nutella knock off- hazelnuts and cacao, with a bit of something sweet.

  • Nicky Fietz

I would begin by making some of the coconut cream and the mars bar slice! I’d also make up a batch of almond milk too.

  • Vicki

Chocolate mouse first, for my chocolate-loving hubby. And coconut cream for my cream-loving self. 🙂

  • emily

Definitely some nut butter. I’m thinking almond maple cinnamon.

  • Caitlin Goldston

Wow, it sounds amazing! As a first time mum to a newborn, I’d be making lots of healthy breastfeeding snacks. Choc chip (chickpea) cookies, rice crackers, soups and smoothies! After finally finding enough time to make some cookies last week, my blender died! This would come at the perfect time!

  • Ann Wilkes

My first creation will be nut butter! I have yet to find a commercial one that ticks all the boxes and, I don’t own a blender which is powerful enough for nut butter. Thank you for the opportunity to win this! ❤️

  • Clare

2 Ingredient Chocolate Truffles for sure. I absolutely love my chocolate and am so excited that there is now an option to still eat it without all the unhealthy ingredients. I am so excited to try them.

Mmm so many choices. But will have to be the chocolate mousse! Guilt free and looks delicious 🙂

  • Leanne Storey

  • Abi Young

Nut butter for sure!! I woukd love to make my own nut butter but I just dont have the “power” to do so… 🙂

  • Nicole Murphy

My first creation would be Korean fresh rice flour. Very, very hard work by hand so an Oster blender would make it a pleasure!

  • Danielle

This blender sounds like the bomb! My kids are hommus lovers so to be able to whip my own up instantly would be awesome, plus nut butter not only for my own family but my mum too. Good luck everyone, what a fantastic prize!

  • Kyna

    Peanut butter! 🙂

  • Janice Jones

Definetly the nut butter my current blender just will not do the job Would love this blender It would get a great work out

  • Stacey Louise Davis

Oh I would love this! My blender lives on the bench because I use it everyday several times a day. Most things it struggles with and smells like it’s on fire and going to blow up! But butter would be my first creation! I use it in so many recipes but my blender can’t handle it and I end up buying jars of it. After the nut butter sooo many wholefood dishes will be made x

  • Leisa Schonknecht

The instant nut milk looks great!

  • Michelle W

Nut Butter! With an Oster Versa Performance Blender and Wholefood Simply I can reduce my need for packaged and process items even further. This Oster Versa Performance Blender sounds like it will take my kitchen experiences to a whole new level. Very exciting!

  • Jessica Willemse

    Nut butter and chocolate mousse!!!

  • Danielle Pascucci

How exciting! Nut butter and nut flour/meal, would be the first things I would make with this super blender.

  • Amber Dick

I would create Bianca’s vanilla cookies! My current blender isn’t strong enough to make coconut or any nuts into butter.

  • Tegan

I’d make nut butter then without cleaning the jug… Whip up some nut milk!!

  • Rouba

Without question it would be nut butter! I have attempted to make nut butter in my food processor but have stopped as I’m terrified it’s going to blow up! I end up paying a small fortune for jars of nut butter instead. I would also love to make soups. Nearly every night we have soup in winter so this would be perfect 🙂

  • Danita

Mother of four, desperate to convert my children to wholesome ‘real’ food! No blender yet, but busting to make anything from your recipes that make a healthy snack alternative that my children will fall in love with and help develop a healthy relationship with food!

  • Julia

    The truffles!

  • Dawn Mathers

I have always wanted a way to make great healthy soups quickly so that’s what I would make.

  • Marissa De Marcellis

Oster la vista! This machine would turn me into the Terminutter!!!! As I make and re make all the nut butters, milks and slices, starting with your (Wholefood Simply’s) Creamy Nut Butter! Yum!!!

  • Korin

The list is endless! Chocolate mousse, chocolate truffles, sweet potato bread, baked banana custard, I could go on and on! My family loves your recipes and my little blender smells and sounds like its about to die. The Oster Versa would be a loved and welcome edition to my kitchen bench!

  • Shan

I love love love the raspberry bliss balls covered in dark chocolate, I would make them first!

  • Faith

I’d blend all my veges up and chuck them in a super yummy muffin… the kids won’t know 😉

  • Kirstin

Would try choc mousse and truffles for sure! At the moment I tend to favour your recipes that don’t need blending to avoid cleaning the food processor.

  • Geri

I would absolutely go for the hot chocolate mousse. My hubby would love me to make that for him.

  • jennifer stoddart

I would definitely try making my own nut butter! after hunting and hunting I still haven’t found one that I like! so trying out my own concoction (by your guidance) would be so much fun! I love having a new toy so would probably spend hours and forget to pick up the boys from school haha!

  • Crystal Clements

I wouldnt know where to start! Ive never owned a real blender to be able to make any of these delicious looking recipes! Desperately keen to have the opportunity too! Maybe the the Lemon Bliss balls for my hubby or the raspberry bliss balls. So many choices!

  • Rachel

  • Zoe

My first creation would be the bounty bars!!! Loooooove them 🙂 🙂

  • Ella Rogers

My first creation with the Oster Versa Performance Blender would be any kind of nut butter! My current blender struggles a little but this one sounds like it could tackle it easily!

  • Jules Meade

I would make my favourite of yours, the Jersey Caramels yummy!!!

  • Lizzy Guest

The hot chocolate mousse sounds healthy and yummy.

  • Anne

I would try olive oil and lemon mayonnaise first. I have terrible trouble with mayonnaise. I’m sure
an Oster blender would improve my success rate.

  • Lucy Robbins

    Definitely nut butter :)!

  • Cressida Rubinich

I would definitely make lemon macadamia bliss balls.

  • Tracey Short

I don’t have a blender so the first thing I would make would be Make it Pink Smoothie. Looks delish. Can’t wait!

  • Tracy Klynsmith

The hot chocolate mousse would be the first thing I’d make, in fact I want to make it right now lol

  • Eliza Hilliard

There is no question the first thing that I would make would be the hot chocolate mousse featured here… I absolutely LOVE chocolate mousse but given dietary intolerances I have it’s a no go for me…this recipe looks amazing!!!

The hot chocolate mousse ! It looks to die for! I can’t wait to give it a try.

  • Michelle Horder

I’ve tried lots of your recipes but not the hot chocolate mousse so this would definitely be the first recipe I would try in my new blender!

  • Karen Britton-Regan

Definitely the chocolate truffles. I have just destroyed my hand blender trying to make them.

  • Madelaine Winstanley

Nut butter! It’s the one thing I’ve been wanting to make for so long. We’re peanut butter addicts in our house but some variety would be awesome and I’m not sure my pretend Thermomix would enjoy the experience 🙂

  • Renee Fanti Sullivan

Nut butter for sure. All of your recipes are amazing and easy. Hard to explain but making something out of your book gives me a feeling of comfort.

  • Margaret Howe

I would make my protein balls with the blender. My other blenders weren’t strong enough to blend the dried apricots and dates and they died so now i have no blender

  • Alison Knowles

Ooooooh first the nut butter … then use it to make the mix and make peanut butter slice – it sounds positively divine!!! (Hmmmmm assuming that you can use the nut butter to make the slice … I assume so but am a bit new to home made nut butters!)

  • Rebecca Shonk

I would make a raw cheesecake, specifically your strawberry cheesecake as my current blender is not powerful enough to crush the cashews and all the other ingredients together.

  • Rachel

I would make the nut butter for sure! We spend so much money on pre made nut butters from the health food shop each week as we don’t have any piece of kitchen equipment that I could even attempt to make a nut butter with!

  • Seleisa Duddy

Hot chocolate mousse baby, this will knock the socks off my husband!!!!

  • serina

I would make nut butters, probably almond butter. It takes well over half an hour in my current food processor & almost takes the fun out of it. Something speedy would be great. Thank you for the opportunity.

  • Anne-Marie Lawrie

    Hot Chocolate Mousse mmmmmm Chocolate

  • OliveMum

Ooh the Hot Chocolate Mousse, closely followed by the truffles!

  • Christine Convery

I would love to make my Pumpkin and Sweet Potato soup in the Oster Versa Performance Blender, if I’m lucky enough to win it! I love your recipes and creations Bianca! Keep up the good work with whole food simply. Cheers, Chris.

  • Nut milk …. then use the left over pulp to dry and then pop it back in to make nut flour!!!!!

  • Natalie Bressan

Coconut cream for sure! My partner is cream crazy to the point where she ignores her dairy intolerance just so she can have cream. She’s happy to deal with the belly pains but I am not so happy to deal with what comes after the belly pains.

  • Murray Takle

What wouldn’t I make is more the question. I would start with my bulletproof coffee for breakfast, a green smoothie for lunch, protein balls for afternoon snack and chocolste mousse for after dinner. How could I live without it.

  • mrsleistra

Nut butter 🙂 Would love to make that and try out the blender!!

  • Daphne

I would make a cashew and macadamia ‘cheesecake’ for my family- especially my farther in law who will be visiting soon in celebration for his 70thbirthday. He hasn’t ate cake for years due to his dietary requirements.

  • Bianca R

The 2 ingredient chocolate truffles for sure! 🙂

  • Kirsty Breen

I would definitely make a nut butter first, soon to be followed by protein balls and a hummus – how exciting!

  • Jenny Chilcott

I would love to win Blender as it would make it easier to make more of your healthy recipes which we have been trying to help my daughter lose weight to be able to make amazing nut butters and our own milks so we know exactly what is in them thankyou for offering a chance to win such a great prize

  • Kelly

The blender looks so awesome! My current blender is nowhere near good enough to do nut butters, which is really disappointing as that is one of the things I would most like to make. So, if I won the blender the first thing I would love to try is a nut butter, and being a lover of both macadamias and cashews, the Creamy Nut Butter recipe looks perfect!

  • Maria

What a recommendation, this blender looks terrific! The first thing I would make it the nut milk, I love how your recipe doesn’t necessitate using so many nuts to make this. I would then save the pulp to make flour, or even use them to crust some veggies. Love, love, love this!

  • Caroline

lots and lots of Bliss Balls – mmmm

  • Cassie McPherson

    The truffles for sure!!!!

  • Julie O’Brien

Hi Bianca, Wholefood Simply has brought so much joy to me. I have found nutritious and delicious recipes that I can make so quickly and easily. My first Oster Versa Performance Blender creation would be Broccoli and Chicken Soup – cooking with love!

  • Julia Richardson

Wow, the Oster Versa Performance Blender makes all these yummy recipes seem to be so quick and easy! I’m a bit of a chocoholic so my first recipe to try with it would be the 2 ingredient chocolate truffles – yummo xxx

  • Marilla Dann

wow, I’ve always lusted over high powered blenders like this for my cooking needs 🙂 My first dish would be a super healthy baked pumpkin soup with broccoli and seed mix for extra taste and nutrition. Even my fussy husband loves warm vegetable soup for dinner in winter; I must be doing something right!

  • Neridah Minson

Nut Butter – I have only recently been told to change my diet to a gluten free, dairy free & as sugar free as possible and I have been looking at the butters and wondering – can I?… so that what I would make foirst 🙂

  • Wendy Goodman

Thanks Bianca, the first thing I would try in the Oster Versa Blender would be the maple syrup nut butter.
Love your recipes and thanks for the opportunity

  • Kat

The Oster Versa sounds perfect for all the healthy foods I enjoy making for my family.
I’m pretty sure the 1st thing I would make would be the Warm Chicolate Mousse, especially being Winter time, and anything chocolate is my idea of comfort food.

  • Renae

I’ll be making nut butters & blissfully smooth green smoothies.

  • Jeannie

If I won this amazing Oster Versa Performance Blender I would donate my old food processor to Vinnies. Then I would start by making the 2 ingredient chocolate truffles followed by all my favourite recipes which are too many to list from your cookbook. (My daughter bought your cookbook for mothers day) Keep up the great work Bianca.

  • Rachel

I would be making all the slices and cheesecakes that require a hard, compact base that only a high-power blender to create!

  • Amanda Smith

I only have a single serve blender at the moment (a NutriBullet) which i love but doesn’t have enough room for recipes any bigger than a smoothie. So if I won this bad boy I would have a reason to purchase that awesome bundle pack of yours and could whip up all of those recipes! xx

  • Natasha

If I won the Oster Versa Performance blender I would play around with both savoury and sweet recipes. However, I think the peppermint slice would definitely be on the menu! Thanks for the opportunity. Would be great to win so I could compare it to my friend’s Vitamix she continually raves about.

  • Chloe Yesberg

Hommus!!! It sounds so simple. But fresh home made hommus is the bees knees..! Om nom nom nom. Xo.

  • Nina

Magic Potions! …and pumpkin tahini dip.

  • Joanne Bradshaw

The first thing I would make would be the yummy creamy nut butter, I never thought of mixing the nuts always just thought 1 nut per butter.

  • Sarah Armstrong Singleton

I would make some nut butter first then some mouse!! Yum!!

  • Clare Ag O’Donnell

I’d use the Oster Versa Blender to create all the bliss balls my heart desires. I’d try many of your recipes, but also would test a few of my own creations. Experimenting in the kitchen is one of my passions and this blender would make it all the more interesting!

  • Louise

Oh, it would absolutely be an array of nut butters! We love the stuff in my house. Spread on rice cakes, sliced apple or between frozen banana for a quick snack, in chocolate nut butter cups for a indulgent treat, divine in the Chocolate Nut Butter Mug Cake (almond butter is my favourite for this) and my new discovery is using cashew butter to make raw vegan cookie dough truffles – INCREDIBLE.

  • Marlla Singerova

    Vodka smoothie 😛

  • ngaire

Hot Chocolate Mousse! Stat! It’s cold here in Hobart!

  • Nyomi

Definitely a nut butter. I recently blew up my low powered food processor making nut butter and they are sooOO expensive to buy. This blender would be the perfect solution to my nut butter problem!!

  • Julie Skinner

I love all your recipes so tough choice where to begin. Nut butters need a stronger mixer than I have so I would like to start with your almond/macadamia version. How lovely to have fresh nut butters made by moi. I like to send regular batches of protein rich cookies made with lots of love to my son living interstate to support not only his sweet tooth but his brain as he completes his final year at uni. At the moment I’m gently simmering commercial dried dates to soften and my blender is happier with this. It will be fun to have the Oster Versa Blender do its magic and create cookies with medjool dates – I suspect the taste will be even better.

  • Tammy Cook

2 Ingredient Chocolate Truffles as my blender is TERRIBLE and all my Wholefood Simply creations always have chunks that didn’t get blended properly 🙁 still delicious though 🙂

  • ronit almagor

Home made sunflower seed butter! You used to be able to buy it but it’s not so available and this would be healthier too

  • Nicki Montagnoli

I would make the hot chocolate mousse but also the coconut mud cake – I tried to make it once before but my blender isn’t powerful enough so i couldn’t get the coconut butter to work. My 2 year old & I would have so much creating new recipes with such a powerful blender – we love to cook together

  • Belinda

Nut butter & then some more nut butters. Oh heaven 😉

  • Amy Berich

I would have to try a nut butter, ive never made my own as my curent food processor just couldnt handle it.
the hot chocolate mousse would be next yum

  • Marie O’Reilly

I would definitely make the Hot Chocolate Mousse so perfect for those cold wintery nights.

  • Mama Carlotta

I would be so torn!!! As there would clearly be a need for celebration, I’d throw together a quick cake then whilst that’s cooking, I’d make a nut butter and use that to make a nut milk. Then I’d wash everything (one day I will invent a self washing miracle machine!!) and pop a soup on to do it’s thing to give me time to sit with a piece of cake (spread with nut butter) and my nut milk!

  • Kim Reed Lisi

The 2 Ingredient Chocolate Truffles would have to be 1st on the list!

  • Donna Maree Germon

Oh! My! God! your hot chocolate mousse sounds divine! I would definitely put that on first and foremost.

  • tracy Haigh-faulkner

I would make a green smoothie, the small cheap blender I have already leaves the veggies quite chunky and unfortunately it makes me gag, if I won the Oster blender, the Oster blender and I would become best friends…boy my hubby would be jealous wouldn’t he, lol.

  • Elaine Campbell

I would make the chocolate truffles featured here, the one’s with medjool dates. I hope I win!

  • Rhiannon

the creamy nut butter sounds delicious

  • lisa

I would have to make a smoothie – every day – I love a breakfast smoothie. Blueberry, banana, almond milk, cinnamon, honey, flax oil, almond butter, and ice. Yummy!

  • tracy Haigh-faulkner

I would like to make a green smoothie to start with, the small cheap blender I have already leaves the veggies quite chunky and unfortunately it makes me gag, if I won the Oster blender, the Oster blender and I would become best friends…boy my hubby would be jealous wouldn’t he, lol.

  • Sandra Imelfort

We would want make everything but especially the butters as we have followed you for long but can never get it as perfect as you. Instead of smooth consitensy its just a chunky mess ( taste is still there) So me and my kids would absolutely love to be the proud owners of this so we can make what ever recipe we want from your book without almost burning the motor on our current old one 🙂

  • Elysia Viles

Definitely the Hot Chocolate Mousse; it sounds amazing!

  • Liz

I’m into the nut butters and milks … which I then use for all your other scrumptious recipes.

  • Michelle E

Bianca you are amazing and a real inspiration to me to get my food right back to basics where my body loves it best. Not only do you make your recipes easy and tasty, they also provide me with an opportunity to connect with you and your life experiences through the beautifully written stories you attach to each recipe. THAT is special! I would definitely like to make my own nut butters and it sounds like the Oster Blender is the tool to have to do this. Thank you, Michelle

  • Serin

Hmmm, start with a creamy nut butter, then make a smoothie straight after to get every scrap of yummy nut butter out of the jug and into my stomach!

    • Jo Simpson

What a perfect solution to cleaning up! 🙂

  • Matthew Harwood

Love your recipes Bianca .The chocolate truffles look amazing. Every time I get my newsletter I am in a rush to get back in the kitchen. Really love the vegan treats.

  • Michelle Vogt

Almond milk .. my processor doesn’t quite cut it atm (pardon the pun hehe)

  • Jo Simpson

Oh man, first thing I’d make? To really put the Oster through its paces I’d try out my classic Funky Monkey smoothie: homemade nut butter, almond milk, bananas, honey and ice. Can’t beat it!

  • Angela Shapland

i would definantly make the nut butter, but would be almond butter, as it is the best taste and so simple and cheaper then buying it already prepared…

  • Niki Cottingham

I’m a tad excited, i’ve been saving to buy your cook books and today i finally had enough and they are still on sale 🙂 Now i get to enter with a chance to win the awesome blender 🙂 I think i’d try the creamy nut butter first – i love peanut butter on vegie sticks and the reviews for this are sounding great 🙂

  • maria turra

  • Amanda

  • Jodie

I would make homemade almond milk which I often make but the blending takes a while. I use the left over almond meal to make recipes and the first on my list would be the 5 ingredient chocolate mud cake… it was such a hit here and I will make it in a flash.

  • jan whiting

Creamy nut butter first. It just sounds so yummy.

  • Phoebe

    Hazelnut milk – delicious

  • Julie Sparrow

I’d make the hot chocolate mousse…Looks delish!

  • Emma Hessel

I would love to make my own almond butter – my little mini blender isn’t quite up to the task, but I’m sure it’d be a breeze with the Oster! Then not only can I enjoy almond butter out of the jar (on apple slices, or just a spoon!) but I can also make so many of your wonderful recipes!

  • Sharon Pannekoek

I would make my own carob mousse – I can’t have cocoa. Hard to find nice replacements so the blender would do an amazing job.

  • Elizabeth Cavalli

Hot chocolate mousse – have never even thought if making it hot, but now my pregnant tummy can’t get past the idea!

  • Charmaine Savy

It would have to be a raw pasta sauce after my current blender couldn’t handle it- followed by chocolate mousse of course! 😀

  • Lauren Guevara

That hot chocolate mousse looks AMAZING! I would be making that for my first creation! Yum! But so much more! The blender looks so helpful!

  • Samantha

Nut Butters and Nut miiiiilks… I dream of having something to make these!
I can’t afford medjool dates so substitute with the cheaper ones, would love something strong enough to grind these, ha ha

It would have to be the creamy nut butter first. Sounds delicious!

  • Hannah

    Mhmmm nut butter!! Yumo!!

  • Carolyn Moseling

Always wanted to be able to make nut butter. Just the beginning of so much more.

  • Alicia

I’d have to make the Hot Chocolate mousse – sounds delicious & so easy to make

  • Noni Sampson

Wow, your creamy nut butter looks super delish!! Just perfect nutty goodness 🙂

  • Rebecca Widdows

Powerballs, definitely! So useful for portable kids snacks. But my poor old blender is starting to struggle with them.

  • Lizzie Nunn

My raw caramel slice, or raw mars bars? Hmm, raw mars bars it is. I LOVE watching my 3 year old scoff healthy and sugar free treats. Just warms my heart!

  • Karinda

Definitely a nut butter. That would be such a cost saving if I could make my own.

  • Stephanie Rutherford

Would have to be bliss balls

  • Melanie

Definitely the creamy nut butter. I would then use this to make instant nut milk all the time! I am forever waking up and thinking, mmmmm, I will make this delicious dish for breakfast and then find I have no nut milk! This way I can pre-soak my nuts beforehand, roast the cashews and make a huge amount. I will never run out again (maybe…..)

  • Dan Tropp

I reckon the hot chocolate mousse. Bound to be a hit with the kids. I might even try a cocoa-free version for myself with lucuma or mesquite.

  • Matt and Kell Davis

the first thing I would make is …..a decision – which spot on my bench will show it off the most?! Then I’d make your lemon and raspberry slice. I looks delicious 🙂

  • Jay

I think the first thing I’d do is make nut butter… sounds so easy and delish!!!

  • Jocelyn

While the Chocolate mousse looks terrific, there is an I Quit Sugar Coconut Cookies and Cream Ice Cream that I would love to try with the Oster!

  • Natalie Marwood

A powerhouse smoothie packed with nutrients using only whole foods!

  • Tanya Howie

oooooh decisions, decisions! I want to make it ALL! Maybe starting with the nut butter, and then it would be my daily companion for all things wholefood.

  • Janaina Cordeiro Morcombe

    Nut butter!

  • Jasmine Green

I’d definitely give the two ingredient truffles a go. I already have all the ingredients. Win-win! (sorry, corny pun, I know) 🙂

  • Jade Hunnisett

Definitely nut butter. My food processor is just not capable of making a smooth nut butter. Would love to try it.

  • Tina Nutter

I think it would have to be the Hot Chocolate Mousse – it looks & sounds delicious!!

  • Catherine Baillie

I would experiment with a mandarin and almond cake- one where you add whole boiled almonds. With a baby on the way I’d be able to make my own baby food so easily too!

  • Katie Dunn

Definitely coconut butter. .. my favorite!

  • Jillian

Definitely the Nut Butter. That looks so delicious with cashews and macadamias. My blender just won’t do the job. Drives me nuts! 🙂

  • Skye Keatinge

    The truffles – definitely!!

  • Heidi

MILK MILK MILK! Get in me.

  • em

    chocolate truffles !!!

  • Hailey

Hi Bianca, I would use the blender to make your peppermint slice! We recently returned from a four week holiday to find a kitchen full if pantry moths- in our crazed bid to eliminate them all we threw out my blender as they had made a little home in the engine so sadly I’m sans a blender for sweet treats and breakfast smoothies at the moment!

  • michelle

    Chocolate Truffles……

  • Judy

Frozen banana and macadamia ice cream would be my first choice but I would not care what I made to try out this fabulous appliance

  • Gayle Morrison

I have always wanted to make almond milk so that would be good to try first, but I like you Bianca would be trying lots and lots of wonderful recipes What a wonderful blender to have a chance of winning. Fingers crossed and dreaming 🙂

  • Veronica Vallance

I have two grandchildren (twins) who love chocolate

  • Kami

I would love to make a smooth nut butter with the Osta Versa Performance blender, as it’s something an ordinary blender couldn’t do.

  • Mandi Carey

I’m dreaming of making cherry, coconut, banana & choc ice cream in my new Oster Versa Performance Blender…..

  • Bec Gange

I would love to make some banana and berry icecream!

  • Colleen Reichert

I can’t go past the hot chocolate mousse for my first go with Oster Versa Performance Blender!

  • Brooke Dekker

    Hot chocolate mousse 🙂

  • Nyssa Millington

What, we have to pick just one thing? 🙂 I would definitely have to make chocolate mousse as I’ve had a craving to make it for over a week now. I could see my hubby using it to make his smoothies every morning and it would get a nut butter work out regularly. Oh so many of your recipes would get a work out too Bianca. I love your recipes!

  • Kerrie Parnell

nut butters – my current blender is not really up to the task!

  • Sue

Definitely the nut butter! I have had difficulties making nut butter in my blender, it just doesn’t cope… To make my own nut butter would be cost effective and I know exactly what ingredients are in it.

  • Anne

My kids would make there smoothies and nut butters 🙂

  • Anita

Chocolate, orange and almond cake; Blending whole boiled oranges, making almond flour and blending all together 🙂

  • Charlotte Elizabeth May Patten

Definitely have a spin at making my own nut butter/milk or a wicked herb + nut pesto for raw zucchini pasta!

  • Danielle

I’ve been travelling around Australia by bicycle and have mastered the Wholefood Simply recipes that I can blend by hand. I’d love the opportunity to own an Oster Versa Performance Blender to try the rest!!

  • Carolyn Rosenberg

This is very hard to choose as I love all of your recipes that I have tried. Given the cooler weather we are experiencing I would have to say the Hot Chocolate Mousse listed above is number 1 on my list 🙂

  • Bronnie

My kids love the ‘rum balls’ as we call them esp for school – so the truffles it is.

  • Sheree

I’m one for indulgence so I would love to make the chocolate mousse and make my own versions of apricot bars and Lindt type chocolate balls with delicious fillings! My two year old loves smoothies and my husband loves soups so this would be great for us all!

  • Krista Hunsiker

I would make a smoothie that wasn’t like eating very finely chopped greens, hahaha

  • Emma

Caramel Slice!!! And nut butter, and smoothies and raw cheesecake. The list is never ending! I have a magic bullet at home and it does not make the cut!

  • Shelley Graham

Definitely the instant nut milk. With a dairy free son it would be fabulous to be able to whip this up for him so quickly- and so fresh with no additives. Especially on these cool nights when a hot chocolate is usually on order! X

  • Helen Dimond

That’s too hard…probably nut butter. It would save me a fortune.

  • Bacadak

I think a variety of nut butters. I just can’t justify the price of commercially produced nut butters and often I don’t like the ‘extra ingredients’ they add!

  • Cassia Walton

Oh I would make nut butters 1st for sure! But then I would make anything & everything that I’ve always wanted to make, but can’t because I have a cheapo processor that can’t handle much!! My kids & I LOVE smoothies so they would be up there too! 🙂

  • Kath Hollier

Nut milks, now that our family no longer has access to raw milk, I’m getting more involved with nut and coconut milks.

  • Faye

I would definately try everything as the blender i have works but takes a while to get the result your looking for. I love the recipes and find them wholesome and easy to make.

  • Jo coates

At 9am this morning there was still frost on my car so a roast veg soup for brunch made in the Oster would probably get me out of bed.

  • Heather Osborne-Rigby

Either nut butters or your absolutely divine cheesecakes! (It’s too hard to choose just one!)

  • Emilia Rohweder

coconut butter and wholefood simply slices!

  • April

Our first creation would be your Instant nut milk for sure! It looks delicious!

  • Beverley

My current blender is not strong enough to make the Nut butter, this would definitely be my first choice, followed by your “caramel slice”. Love the receipes you post

  • Hannah Taylor

I would love to create the Creamy Nut Butter as my first creation!

  • Kym

I think the Osta Versa Performance blender would take my healthy homemade hazelnut-cacao spread to the next level! I’d definitely make that first 🙂

  • Sandra Green

I would use the Osta Versa Performance Blender to make creamy nut butter in 3 varieties;cashew, macadamia and almond. I would do this as I currently wear braces (I am 52) and miss the goodness of eating nuts in their solid form. I refuse to buy store bought nut butter and can’t always get to the local health food shop to get my homemade fix.

  • Kim Lee-ane

I would so love to use the Osta Versa Performance Blender to make any of Bianca’s awesome recipes where the coconut or nuts have to be broken down into butter. Mine doesn’t do that 🙁

  • Delia

The Osta Versa Performance Blender sounds like the perfect appliance for all the Wholefood Simply recipes, but I think the very first thing I would make would be a variety of nut butters, especially almond, cashew and macadamia, so that I can then create numerous other delicious treats!

  • melanie

I love nut butter and almond milk, but sadly with my current appliances cannot make myself.

  • Priya

I would make the chocolate truffles first thing and then, make some silky nut milk to go with the truffles!

  • Chantell

I would make the chocolate cake with caramel sauce as my blender doesn’t puree dates well and would love to try this make right not chunky.

  • Danielle Lack

I would definitely start making nut milk and turmeric milk if I had one of these wonderful blenders 🙂

  • Sophie

As a gluten and dairy intolerant gal in her 3rd trimester of pregnancy, the first thing I’d whip up would have to be something to curb my chocolate cravings … and I can imagine turning that delicious instant nut milk into a steamy, creamy hot chocolate, perfect for cold winter nights!

  • Natalie Kerrigan

If I won that beautiful blender, I’d start by stocking up my pantry with the staple of nut butter, then I’d go crazy and work my way through every single one of Bianca’s yummy recipes – my family are massive fans. For me personally, I’d be ecstatic to have the blender so I could really get into making green smoothies for my own health and wellness. (And then convert my family!) I’d give it the best home and love it every single day 🙂

  • Sandi Inglis

The first recipe I would make would have to be the Hot Chocolate Mousse. Everyone in the family would love it.

  • Emma Gundrill

Having 2 little girls with allergies that just keep getting added too, so far we are dairy, gluten and fructose to have something that milled and could make sorbet and mouses with endless more ideas and opportunities would be fantastic they really feel they are missing out on so much so to be able to create something just for them would be a total dream come true, would love to just see their faces light up.

  • Skye

How good does the hot choc mousse look?! I would love an awesome blender that could whip some up for me!

  • Sandra

I would make the creamy nut butter. I’ve tried a couple of times with a food processor and it’s never smooth and creamy like yours! Plus you have to wait for the food processor to cool down before it blows up!

  • Riemke

If I were lucky enough to win the Oster Blender I would firstly make my own almond milk, then perhaps nut butters or try your Choc Cherry Cheesecake again. My current blender did not give a nice smooth result for the filling.

  • Tanya Cotton

The Osta Versa Performance Blender looks like the perfect appliance for raw cakes and recipes. I’d start with your Cherry Ripe recipe as being milk and gluten free for the last 20 years it’s something that would be a dream come true.

  • Sherron Burns

    Coconut cream!

  • Bernadette

Can’t go past a yummy homemade nut butter!

  • Frances

Hot chocolate mouse – sounds delish!!

  • Carly Law

I would make the Moroccan Soup with Chickpeas & Kale I just printed from the Oster website – followed by the Hot Chocolate Mousse. What an amazing menu for a night in, no need to brave the chilly weather outside!! 🙂

  • Carmel Price

Hot choc mousse – coz baby its cold out there!

  • Colleen Archbold

    Hot Chocolate Mousse…..yummm.

  • Marina

    Oh YUM!!
Pumpkin Soup for sure. Load in the vegies and blend it all up. As much as I intend to pack a few containers in the freezer, we always end up eating it all up straight away.
I’ve started adding in beetroot and extra pumpkin when I roast the vegies for our soup. With a few bulbs of garlic – I mash up beetroot and garlic – then pumpkin and garlic for dips (a good blender would make it SO much quicker). I can’t believe that the kids love it so much when we visit friends. I’d be throwing in a humous mix shortly afterwards. Always terrific standbys.

  • Amy Stork

Hot choc mousse plus delicious coconut cream. Mmmm

  • Wanda

I would make the creamy nut butter followed by the instant nut milk!

  • Ange B

Recipe roulette as I want to try ALL of thems!! But if I had to choose I’d do a nut butter in that fantastic Oster appliance as my blender just makes a mess and has 457 parts to wash up!

  • Kosci

While I want to say anything chocolate or a nut butter, I would be too tempted to give it a challenge like rice flour or crushed ice.

  • Louise

It would have to be one that breaks down nuts into a smooth paste, mine really struggles to do that and ends up lumpy. Still tastes good though! Then maybe those chocolate truffles. Yum

  • Eliza

    Wow…so many options! I really think though I couldn’t go past a choc, raspberry & coconut mousse…

  • Kim

I would definitely try the hot chocolate mousse. Yummo!!

  • Donna N

I would start with that hot chocolate mousse!! Only, I can’t figure out how you’ve made it hot.

  • joburkey

The Hot Chocolate mouse, OMG that sounds divine!!!!

  • Cathy Kerenza

If l was lucky enough to win……… l would first make the macadamia and cashew nut butter…followed by some nut milk then something deliciously blended for dessert. Currently l am working with just a stick blender and a mortar and pestle..l miss the fine textures..It would be a dream to win the incredible Oster Versa Performance Blender!

  • Elizabeth

Definitely the nut butter then nut milk! delicious

  • Clint Nutter

The Hot chocolate mousse sounds delicious. The blending is what heats it up?

  • Catherine Heape

My daughter has dairy, egg, nut, soy and gluten allergies so there is an endless list of yummy homemade recipes we could begin with from whole food simply but the above coconut cream sounds delicious so we would definitely start there!

  • Kylie Bleechmore

I would love to try the hot choc mouse! My family would have no objections to this one I’m sure

  • Jen Janes

    Hot chocolate mousse

  • Miriam Rankin

The first thing I would use the Versa to make is your ginger cookies. My kids and I love these and we have had to go without for the last month or so since my stick blender died. Really looking forward to when I can make these again.

  • Holly Simpson

I think some gorgeous melt in your mouth bliss balls would be in order, followed closely by a lovely frothy creamy smoothie for the little hooligan and I, to help mop up the left over bliss ball mixture. Its the equivalent of ‘licking the bowl’ but without chopping fingers lol.

  • Rebecca Darley

Oh my goodness this is AMAZING!!! I love healthy snack ideas for my kiddies lunch boxes. It is so time consuming to create all the healthy snacks but I LOVE doing it! What a fantastic appliance! I would definitely make those truffles for their lunch boxes and that delicious mousse for a special dessert treat 🙂

  • Belinda C

The first thing – definitely my go too green smoothie….spinach, mint, banana, Apple and chia seeds – my cheapie Kmart blender just doesn’t cut it so would look forward to using Oster Versa!

  • Carolyn Bowden

Hot Chocolate Mouse – how can anyone resist such a decadent dessert.

  • Elizabeth Parker

So many tasty options! I think I would start with the creamy nut butter and instant nut milk for my son, and followed closely by some delicious bliss balls for me:)

  • Elizabeth Parker

So many tasty options! I think I would start with the creamy nut butter and instant nut milk for my son, and followed closely by some delicious bliss balls for me:)

  • Kim Diamond

Bliss balls for sure and a lovely morning smoothy

  • Hazel Brookes

Hot Chocolate Mousse sound so delicious, my first visit to your site, really loving it.

  • Karla Mallon

Hot chocolate mousse sounds amazing…definitely has to be my first new creation!

  • Peta

I would defiantly start making my own Almond meal that’s for sure! There is nothing more satisfying then making ingredients from scratch for delicious healthy, sugar free cakes! Yuuuummm!

    • Peta

I just realized i’m rather late for the party! haha! Please keep us posted about the winner! 🙂

  • Hollie

A basil pesto! Store bought ones are lumpy and full of preservatives. I’d love a fresh, healthy version!

  • aimee

    Nut butter for sure

  • Melinda

So many amazing options, where do I start…
most likely the nut butter or coconut butter… 🙂

  • sonya ritchie

Oh it wud be healthy nutella….

  • Briony O’Farrell

My current food processor can’t handle blending nuts any more, so I would probably made nut butter with almonds and cashews – such a versatile pantry item – but so expensive to buy in the supermarkets. Plus, homemade is best 🙂

  • Candice Appleby

I would make an absolute ruckus and mess in the kitchen cooking up a storm!

  • Karen Thomson

Definitely the hot chocolate mousse – it looks devine and chocolate mousse is a family favourite!

  • Melissa Dennison

I would make the chocolate mousse cake… Mmm looks Devine. Than I’m sure I’d get carried away and go crazy making bliss balls. My kids love them!

  • Kali Naughton

The absolute first thing I would make would be some lovely, delicate, fluffy truffles and bliss balls ❤

  • Tracey

I would make salted caramel ice cream ???? yum

  • Jenna Collins

There is so many amazing recipes, I couldn’t stop at 1. I think the first thing I would make is the sweet potato bread. I have never seen a recipe for that and LOVE sweet potato 😋
