The Caramel Slice was a hit, it just went far to quickly; I love sharing, my husband does not (I did save him a piece or maybe even two). To make it up to him I whipped up my Two Ingredient Caramel Fudge, it is what we make when there isn’t the time or resources for the entire slice. You will love it just as much. The hard part is stopping, it is seriously addictive. So quick and easy you need never eat a lolly again!
Caramel Fudge
- 1 cup macadamias
- 1 cup medjool dates, seeds removed
Blend thoroughly, press into a loaf tin lined with baking paper, freeze, cut and enjoy! We eat this one straight from the freezer, delicious.
When I put up my Caramel Slice recipe I had a few requests for a nut free version, simply replace the filling with this delicious mix and you are set. Again, you can also have this as a fudge on its own, scrumptious, my kids love it and would happily eat it all day long – Dad misses out again.
