Just waiting for this slice to set in the fridge and I’m buzzing to try it. I used almond butter and maple syrup and I can honestly say it’s divine. I have licked the bowl clean and I’m so looking forward to having a piece for pudding when my 2 little ones are fast asleep. Thank you.

Hi Bianca. Have just made the Mars bar slice and it is looking good. On another topic Yeah on the Famous Five. I am nearly 77 and they were some of the first books that I read as a small child. So lovely that they have endured for so long and still being read. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.

Thank YOU!! I hope you enjoy the slice. It is amazing how well some books stand the test of time. My daughter LOVES all Enid Blyton – The Faraway Tree series and The Wishing Chair series have been read many times! She also really enjoyed other classics such as The Secret Garden, Mary Poppins, The Wizard of Oz, The Magic Pudding, Pollyana, Little Princess and Heidi. I am not sure where we will go once she finishes with the Secret Seven, one lady suggested Emily of New Moon so we may explore that. To be honest the only one of these that I have read is the Faraway Tree series! I hope her love of reading never fades. Have a great day and thank yo for writing. Bianca. x

I honestly didn’t think anything could be better than your peanut butter cups. This may take over as a family favourite! Thank you.

Oh my, this is really good! What a great way to use up the rice cakes that my kids won’t eat. The rice cakes go all soft and squishy likes marshmallows in this slice. Not sure I want to share it with the kids 😉

So so good- I ate most of it straight from the jug I made it in. What a great flavour & hard to believe it isn’t filled with sugar! Thanks for another awesome recipe- probably my fav yet! Although the peppermint slice takes some beating. Kylie

I am literally obsessed with your recipes. I’ve only made a few so far but everything is just perfect. I love your philosophy, style and obviously your food! This slice is divine, it got eaten WAY too quickly out of my fridge. Completely addictive, tonight I’m going to remake it and add chia seeds. Delicious, thank you so much!

This is another winner recipe Bianca! The honey, cacao, peanut butter, vanilla mix is magical! I couldn’t believe how much it tasted like a Mars bar filling. The end result tastes like a cross between a Mars and a Snickers bar – delicious. I added the choc on top and thought it seemed like a very small quantity at the time but you’re spot on, I wouldn’t use anymore than stated and agree it would be just as good without. My partner who’s a little harder to convince on wholefood treats loved it, between us we polished it off in one evening – whoops!

Anything with peanut butter is a winner for me! This is amazing!! I loved the inclusion of the rice crackers – such a good idea and it works so well. I agree with the previous comment that it’s quite like a snickers bar as well. Love it!

Thank you, this was delicious! I used brown puffed rice (3 cups), 1/2 brown rice syrup and 1/2 honey, and hulled tahini (to be nut free for school lunch), I also added a tsp of raw organic vanilla protein powder & the mix was a winner before I even got it in the fridge. I may even be able to sneak some chia seeds into the next batch!
