Just waiting for this slice to set in the fridge and I’m buzzing to try it. I used almond butter and maple syrup and I can honestly say it’s divine. I have licked the bowl clean and I’m so looking forward to having a piece for pudding when my 2 little ones are fast asleep. Thank you.

    • That is great to hear Sarah!!!!! Thank YOU!!!! I am rapt to hear that you like it. I hope the end result is every bit as good. Thanks again for the feedback. x

Hi Bianca. Have just made the Mars bar slice and it is looking good. On another topic Yeah on the Famous Five. I am nearly 77 and they were some of the first books that I read as a small child. So lovely that they have endured for so long and still being read. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.

    • Thank YOU!! I hope you enjoy the slice. It is amazing how well some books stand the test of time. My daughter LOVES all Enid Blyton – The Faraway Tree series and The Wishing Chair series have been read many times! She also really enjoyed other classics such as The Secret Garden, Mary Poppins, The Wizard of Oz, The Magic Pudding, Pollyana, Little Princess and Heidi. I am not sure where we will go once she finishes with the Secret Seven, one lady suggested Emily of New Moon so we may explore that. To be honest the only one of these that I have read is the Faraway Tree series! I hope her love of reading never fades. Have a great day and thank yo for writing. Bianca. x

Oh my, this is really good! What a great way to use up the rice cakes that my kids won’t eat. The rice cakes go all soft and squishy likes marshmallows in this slice. Not sure I want to share it with the kids 😉

    • Love it!!! Thank YOU!!! I really appreciate the feedback and I am glad you have enjoyed the recipe. Be sure to let me know how you go with anything else that you try. x

So so good- I ate most of it straight from the jug I made it in. What a great flavour & hard to believe it isn’t filled with sugar! Thanks for another awesome recipe- probably my fav yet! Although the peppermint slice takes some beating. Kylie

    • That is great to hear Kylie!! Thank YOU so much, I am glad you have enjoyed it. xxx

I am literally obsessed with your recipes. I’ve only made a few so far but everything is just perfect. I love your philosophy, style and obviously your food! This slice is divine, it got eaten WAY too quickly out of my fridge. Completely addictive, tonight I’m going to remake it and add chia seeds. Delicious, thank you so much!

    • Thank YOU!!!! That is such a lovely message to receive and I am rapt to hear that you are enjoying my little space. Be sure to keep me posted on how you are going with the recipes. xxx

This is another winner recipe Bianca! The honey, cacao, peanut butter, vanilla mix is magical! I couldn’t believe how much it tasted like a Mars bar filling. The end result tastes like a cross between a Mars and a Snickers bar – delicious. I added the choc on top and thought it seemed like a very small quantity at the time but you’re spot on, I wouldn’t use anymore than stated and agree it would be just as good without. My partner who’s a little harder to convince on wholefood treats loved it, between us we polished it off in one evening – whoops!

    • Love it!!!! Thank YOU!!!! I too find it hard to stop with this one, it is up there with my favourites. I really appreciate the feedback and I hope you find many more recipes that you enjoy. x

  • Eve

Anything with peanut butter is a winner for me! This is amazing!! I loved the inclusion of the rice crackers – such a good idea and it works so well. I agree with the previous comment that it’s quite like a snickers bar as well. Love it!

    • Eve

Oops I mean rice cakes, not crackers, obviously…

    • Thank YOU Eve, I am peanut butter crazy at the moment. I will be sharing soon cooking that I am currently loving next week so be sure to keep your eye out. I would love to hear what you think of them. x

Thank you, this was delicious! I used brown puffed rice (3 cups), 1/2 brown rice syrup and 1/2 honey, and hulled tahini (to be nut free for school lunch), I also added a tsp of raw organic vanilla protein powder & the mix was a winner before I even got it in the fridge. I may even be able to sneak some chia seeds into the next batch!

    • Love it!! Thank YOU! I am glad it was enjoyed. x

  • Olivia

Tastes amazing. Made it into little bites using rice bubbles instead of cakes.

    • Yes!! Perfect! I have done that when we have been away from home. I really appreciate the feedback and I am glad you enjoyed them!
