Hi Bianca, do I need to use a particular type of peanut butter to make these refined sugar free? x Christen

Would any nut butter do? We have a peanut allergy.

This was delicious! I don’t even like the old school chocolate crackles but I made this for my son and I’ve now eaten just as much as him! I made this in a standard Lamington tin and it did only fill half the tin so next time I’ll make a double batch.

Could I use almond butter instead of peanut?

I’m not sure where I went wrong but my slice didn’t hold together very well at all! I did use raw honey which was quite solid so maybe that’s why? Any suggestions? It tasted great though! Would definitely love to try making again…

    • I would suggest heating the honey first, I think that is what has made the difference x
