Hi Bianca. I can’t believe I haven’t stumbled across you before. I am in love with your recipes. I made these with my girls today. I must admit I only had half the quantity of some of the ingredients so made a half batch. I also couldn’t quite figure out how to put it all together so I just rolled it all into balls. My husband has been a grouch since we quit sugar so was super excited to come home from work tonight and find these in our freezer. He said they definitely tasted like a snickers though rather than a picnic. I’m not quite sure myself but love them whatever they are called. Natalie

Thank YOU and welcome Natalie. I am glad you found my little space and that you have stumbled across a recipe that your family enjoys, I hope you find many more, be sure to let me know. Bianca. x

Hi Bianca
Just wondering if you know approximately how much 10 dates would weigh…or if you’d be able to check next time you are using them to whip up one of your fabulous sweet creations ????. I’ve seen some at the supermarket and they can vary quite a bit in size. Thank you!

Bianca Slade September 12, 2016 - 11:52 am

Hi Sue, it is very close to being a cup. I hope this helps.

Hi just wondering if I can substitute for regular dates how that might alter the texture / taste? Medjool dates are rediculously expensive where I live, and heaps of your recipes call for them. Love your recipes btw, make them weekly. Tia x
