Lemon Protein Balls


Lemon Protein Balls 

  • 1 cup almond meal (100 grams)
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut (100 grams)
  • 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder (30 grams)
  • 1 rounded tablespoon honey*(40 grams)  
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (30 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (30 grams)
  • zest one lemon
  • juice half a lemon (40 grams of juice)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  1. Place the ingredients into your processor and blend at high speed until the mixture resembles a fine, sticky crumb. Use your hands to press and shape the mixture into balls. Place the balls into the fridge to set.
  2. Eat and enjoy.

Thermomix Method

  1. Place the ingredients into the bowl and blend at speed 10 for 6 seconds.
  2. Use your hands to press and shape the mixture into balls. Place the balls in the fridge to set.
  3. Eat. Enjoy.

    What could I sub for protein powder?

    On KETODIET I do not eat sugars, so no honey or maple syrup what can be substituted for those two ingredients?
