Ginger Snap Bliss Balls

My peppermint obsession has passed, ginger has taken it’s place.

Ginger Snap Bliss Balls

  • 1 cup dry roasted cashews*
  • 1 cup dry roasted almonds*
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons honey**
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  1. Place the ingredients into your processor and blend until the mixture resembles a fine, sticky crumb. Use your hands to press and shape the mixture into balls. Place the balls into the fridge to set.
  2. Eat and enjoy.

*dry roasted nuts are readily available from the supermarket and health food stores.

**you can use rice malt syrup if you prefer.

    Sorry Bianca but I can never just make exactly what is in a recipe, then I wonder why most things don’t work…lol but I used walnuts cos I didn’t have cashews then I added 1/2 a cooked orange skin and all and a few drops of pure orange essential oils cos I love orange with ginger and some 80% dark chocolate bits,OMG they are to die for. Thanks again for all your efforts to put these awesome recipes together for our eating pleasure. Guilt free too as they are natural and good for us cheers Sharon from Perth Western Australia xx

    Wow, these really have a kick-arse ginger punch – love them! With Xmas just around the corner, in my next batch, l’ll incorporate some cinnamon & cloves for a real gingerbread flavour.
