Fairy Smoothie

IMG_2042The word ‘simplicity’ has several definitions, freedom from complexity and intricacy is the one that resonates with me. I am very much a simplicity type of girl. If I can strip things back I will. I don’t wear make up, I don’t do my hair. I can truly say that I would like to, and many times I have tried; but to me it just doesn’t come naturally. I wear the same much loved clothes over and over, year in and year out, until either my Mother or husband throw them away. I don’t watch television, I don’t read newspapers, on many levels I avoid complexity. This smoothie indulges in simplicity, perhaps that is why I love it and I know you will too, no matter how intricate you like your world.

Fairy Smoothie

1 banana (fresh or frozen)

1 cup raspberries (I use frozen but fresh would also be delicious)

1 handful spinach

1 cup water

Blend and enjoy!

With winter fast approaching I would love to win the C Berry Blast – to get plenty of vitamins into my darlings and hopefully keep the winter bugs away!

I wish I could take a page out of your book, as I think a bit of simplicity is needed in my life… 🙂 The C Berry Blast looks divine and delicious and I love how both this product and the Vital Veggie Power can easily be added to just about any dish to add nutritional goodness to children’s (and adults!) diets. I would LOVE to win the products in order to give them a try and see how my littlies (one of them is a very fussy eater and needs all the help she can get) take to them. However if I don’t win I’ll be purchasing them anyway. They look like must-have products to me!

I would love to win one of these products, I have trouble getting vegies into my kids, & I love that they are all natural products with so much goodness in them.

Great Post! I relate to keeping things simple & it helps keep me grounded! As I recovered from Health issues, I realised success is not just about reaching the next goal. It’s about looking after yourself in the process. Having the time to smell the roses on the way & incorporating healthy habits on the journey. I have loved teaching my kids too. The NutraOrganic range of products are great & my children love them added to their daily juices & smoothies 😉

I’d love to try the Vital Veggies for my son (and the rest of us!). Intellectually, he understands and tries to do the best things for his health and diet. He cracks me up sometimes with his verbal dissection of his meals and choices, yet he’s still a 9 year old boy challenged by sensory processing issues among others. There’s no way I’d have to sneak Vital Veggies into his food – he’d include it himself – and I would know he was getting a more balanced diet than his usual narrow range of vegetables will allow!

Wow! My kiddies would just love a fairy smoothie! What a great idea! 😀 I think I’d like to win the Vital Veggie Powder because not only is it hard to get veges into my kids but hubby is worse!! I’d hide it in all their food! Mwwahahaha! 😉 Thanks for a such a great giveaway! 😉

I have just made this for my fussy kids and they have both enjoyed it, my 1 year old was a bit hesitant but still drank a majority of it, I also made it with milk for the extra calcium lift……tasted yummy! Thanks Bianca

That is great!! I find smoothies really good for kids, sometimes it can be hard to get them to drink and to have vegetables so a smoothie is often the perfect answer at my place. Thanks for writing. Bianca
