 Chocolate Probiotic Protein Balls

Chocolate Probiotic Protein Balls

  • 1/2 cup protein powder (chocolate or vanilla)
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup cacao
  •  1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 10 grams Premedy High Strength Probiotic (1 gram per ball)
  • 1/4 cup almond meal*

1.    Place the ingredients (excluding the almond meal) into a bowl and mix to combine. Add the almond meal one tablespoon at a time and use your hands to work the mixture until it resembles a cookie dough consistency. Shape the mixture into balls and place in the fridge to set.

2.    Serve. Eat. Enjoy.

*You may need less or more depending on the consistency of your other ingredients.

I created this recipe for Premedy, a brand with premium probiotic formulas that don’t require refrigeration. I repeat, do not require refrigeration. I really love that! And the best thing is that all formulations come with a live bacteria guarantee.

The Premedy range is gluten-free, lactose-free, egg-free and vegetarian-friendly.

The Premedy High Strength Probiotic formulation that I used in the above recipe features 15 strains of naturally sourced probiotics. It can be taken to increase beneficial bacteria in the gut, support a healthy digestive system, support healthy bowel function and support general health and wellbeing.

As always, check the product out for yourself. Always read the label. Follow the directions for use. Let me know what you think!
