Throughout all of my pregnancies Bliss Balls have made it onto my everyday eating list.
Pregnancy hunger can strike at any time and for me it is a force to be reckoned with. For this reason I do not leave the house without a Bliss Ball and an apple in my bag. I not only snack on Bliss Balls when I am out, but I also tuck into them at around 4pm each day when my body and mind are exhausted and in need of a little deliciousness.
My first pregnancy took place eight years ago now, how time flies! I still recall making and eating far too many Tahini and Honey Bliss Balls throughout those nine months.
With my Son, my second baby, it was Peanut Butter Bliss Balls.
With my angel baby it was Chocolate Brownie Bliss Balls.
And today, with the precious little one who is currently dancing inside me, it is these incredibly easy and crazy delicious Chocolate, Cranberry and Pistachio Bliss Balls. You will find them hiding at the back of my fridge, away from little fingers. If my husband dares to look at them he quickly feels my hungry-pregnant-lady-eyes upon him and backs away.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I do, be sure to let me know.

These are on my ‘to make’ list! Would you share your peanut butter bliss ball recipe? Sounds too good!
Yes!! I will. I hope you enjoy these ones. x
When your recipes call for Medjool dates can it be replaced with normal dates?
I use normal dates for all the recipes on here and they still taste great. Sometimes I soak them in hot water for a few minutes before hand, but Im not sure whether that makes any difference or not!
Thank YOU Caro. x
Yes they can but I would suggest doubling the amount required and you may also need to soak them briefly in water. I hope this helps. x
[…] had a hectic morning out and about. I had two Choc, Cranberry and Pistachio Balls in my bag and happily tucked in. I really hope you try them, they are […]
Looks very good! I save this for later. thanks xx cathy
Thank YOU!!!! I hope you enjoy them. Be sure to let me know. x
Hi Bianca, I made these yesterday, BIG mistake, I’ve nearly eaten them all, lol! loved them. I tried to buy cranberries, however, all the cranberries I could find had a lot of sugar in them. so I just used what I had in the cupboard, apricots, sultanas, & dried pinapple. YUM, thank you =), ps, just wandering what brand your cranberries are? thanks
Hi Kimmy, thank YOU!!! The ones I buy are sweetened with apple juice. Perhaps check out The Source Bulk Whole Foods online or if they have a shop near you – they might have them. I hope this helps. x
Oh wow ! I usually make the brownies, over and over again, thought I would try these. They are sensational! Totally understand how Kimmy Lee-ana ate the whole lot.. Perhaps a new favourite for me!!
That is great to hear Treeno!!! Thank YOU. x
Another vote for the peanut butter bliss balls too x
Thank YOU!!! I will whip them up and take a pic this weekend. I look forward to hearing what you think. x
I made these tonight for school lunch boxes. And I would highly recommend them. Fantastic taste and texture! Thanks so much.
Thank YOU!!!! I really appreciate the feedback and I am glad you enjoyed them. x
I am making my daughter a gift box of four different flavors of the Bliss Balls (like a box of truffles, but healthier). i was looking thru all your great flavors and didn’t see one for banana. Do you think mashed bananas wouldn’t work?
Are you tired of people asking silly and repeated questions over and over-I would be!
No not at all. Feel free to ask away.
You can use banana, I just haven’t got around to getting a pic and writing a recipe up yet. When do you need the recipe by? I hope you find some other flavours that work well, it sounds like a great gift, one that I would love to receive! xx
Yesterday , she loved them, so now I am thinking these would be great at holidays rather than cookies most of my family and friends cannot or do not eat anymore! tks so much!
Hi Bianca, just thought to thank you for your great bliss balls and the Christmas treat they are for my friends this year. I have made about 8 varieties, dipped them in chocolate, and presented them in a funky retro canister for them to keep ! ! Have an awesome Christmas and may you be blessed beyond understanding xx
Oh Cass thank YOU so much!!! I would LOVE to be receiving one of those for Christmas, aren’t you wonderful!! I hope the gifts are all thoroughly enjoyed and that your Christmas is merry and bright. Thanks again for your support and kindness. Bianca. x
I made these yesterday. So delicious! Thanks for the recipe. I had to add a little water to soften.
Thank YOU! I am glad you enjoyed them. x
