Chocolate Brownie Protein Balls

 chocolate brownie protein balls

I walked through yours doors, lifted your bars and attempted to jump on your boxes.

I came because I was unsettled and because I didn’t know that many people in this new town we were calling home.

I came because I needed a few moments away from the Stay at Home Mum gig that I love and because physically, mentally and emotionally I wanted to feel better than I was feeling.

I came because I had put on weight and I was uncomfortable.

I didn’t know when I walked through those doors just how amazing your place would be!

I didn’t know that I would grow and change and be a better version of myself with every week that passed.

I didn’t know that I would meet a whole bunch of people who make me see things from a different perspective.

I didn’t know that walking through those doors was the beginning of a journey, a transformation on more levels than just the obvious.

I didn’t know how much I needed to spend a little of my time hanging out at your place!

And these words are not true of every gym. Not every gym is a community. Not every gym radiates positivity. Not every gym values every person who walks through their door. Not every gym offers the support and acceptance that is evident in every one of your classes.

But your place really is more than a gym.

So I’ll continue to be the girl who can barely lift weights or jump on boxes. The girl who can’t do push-ups or run fast. The girl who has a long way to go and who struggles every step of the way.

But I wouldn’t want to be struggling anywhere else!

So thank you Perfit! For all you have given and for all that is yet to come!

PS: If you live in beautiful Ballarat and want to come along I would be absolutely thrilled!!! You can try out any of the classes for free and I’d love to meet you there!! You are welcome to message me anytime!

PPS: This is NOT a sponsored post. I did NOT receive anything at all for writing about Perfit and they did not know that this post was written. I just wanted to share my experience, just like I want to share my Protein Balls. Oh and because I really would love to workout with you!

Can I use regular dried dates, and not medjool dates? Will I need to adjust blending times?

I really liked it!! And so did my husband who is the pickiest eater I know. The only thing I changed was rolling some of them on pie crust, and some on shaved coconut, at the end. Very yummy! Totaled 9 servings.
