Hi Bianca. I have had a blast in the supermarket today and now have a bus filled with goodies previously not sampled. Already in love with almond butter and cant wait to sample my Goji Berries. Blender coming tommorrow. Fingers crossed. One question where do i find cacoa from.

Nice work Michelle! I hope you love it all. You can get cacao from a health food shop, I am yet to come across one that doesn’t stock it. I haven’t seen cacao at the supermarkets. You could also try online, Loving Earth is a popular online store that stocks cacao powder/nibs/butter etc. You can also substitute with cocoa or carob which are readily available. Can’t wait to hear how you go. Bus blending adventures, have fun experimenting!

i love this recipe! i have been making it for my son. i have been serving him various chocolate (green) smoothies for the past few months but this is superb. the addition of the dates and avocado is brilliant.
thanks bianca.
are you writing a cookbook? you should. i simply adore your recipes because they are easy-to-follow and work. oh and taste briliant.
