Choc Chip Banana Bars

Choc Chip Banana Bars

flesh of 1 ripe banana (100 grams)

10 medjool dates, seeds removed

1 tablespoon almond butter

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 cups desiccated coconut

1 cup almonds 

50 grams dark chocolate, roughly chopped

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

pinch of salt 

Preheat your oven to 180℃ or 350℉. Grease and line a square 20cm baking tin

with baking paper.

Place the ingredients into your processor and blend until the mixture is broken

down, well combined and sticking together. Press the mixture firmly into your

prepared tin and bake for 20 minutes or until golden. Remove from the oven

and leave in the tin to cool. 

Place the slice in the fridge for one hour prior to cutting.

Slice. Serve. Eat and enjoy. 

Makes 16 pieces.
