The Savoury Bowl
- 1/3 cup grain of your choice (teff, quinoa, oats etc)
- 1 cup water
the toppings, it’s all about the toppings…
- dukkah
- avocado
- poached egg
- lemon infused olive oil
- salt and pepper
- Cook your grain according to the packet directions or by adding the grain and water to a saucepan, bringing it to the boil, reducing to a simmer, covering and cooking until all the liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally. Once the liquid has been absorbed remove the saucepan from the heat and let it sit, covered, for five minutes. Cooking times will vary depending on the grain being used.
- Once cooked spoon the grains into a bowl and add the toppings in the order listed above. Be generous.
- Serve. Eat. Enjoy.
The Sweet Bowl
- 1/3 cup grain of your choice (teff, quinoa, oats etc)
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 – 2 teaspoons maple syrup (optional)

- blueberries
- crushed dry roasted almonds
- coconut yoghurt or natural greek yoghurt
- maple syrup
- Cook your grain according to the packet directions, using the milk and maple as your liquid or by adding the grain and milk and maple to a saucepan, bringing it to the boil, reducing to a simmer, covering and cooking until all the liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally. Once the liquid has been absorbed remove the saucepan from the heat and let it sit, covered, for five minutes. Cooking times will vary depending on the grain being used.
